There’s no shortage of tablets in the market, there are all sorts of tablets from manufacturers in different sizes, operating system and price tags. Bigger tablets often come with features to boost the productivity of the users, and if you’re in the market looking for a 10-inch tablet, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best 10-inch tablets available in the market. Check them out and let us know if we missed any.

1. Apple iPad Air 2

iPad Air 2

Earlier this year, Apple launched its latest iteration of the iPad, boasting a 9.7-inch display and plethora of interesting features on board. It’s possibly the best tablet to come out from the Cupertino-based company, offering an excellent set of specifications and design. The tablet features a 9.7-inch display boasting a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels, an A8X processor, 8MP camera for photos and videos, 1.2MP front-facing camera, and a beautiful design. The tablet has a lot more to offer if you’re in possession of another iOS device running iOS 8.1, thanks to the Continuity feature. The only issue some people may have to deal with is its high price tag, it starts at $499 for the 16GB WiFi only model.

2. Galaxy Tab S 10.5

Galaxy Tab S

Although I love the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, if you’re looking for a bigger version of the tablet, Samsung is offering the Galaxy Tab S with a 10.5-inch display as well. It’s Super AMOLED, and offers a resolution of 2560 by 16 pixels, and is powered by a Exynos 5 Octa or a Snapdragon 800 processor. The tablet comes in two versions: WiFi and LTE, offering seamless connectivity on the go. The tablet also features 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of expandable storage, 8MP camera for photos and videos, a 7,900 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system.

3. Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet

Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet

Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also offers plethora of interesting features on board, and is one of the best Android tablet. The device offers a 10.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,920 by 1,200 pixels, and comes with IP certification which makes the tablet waterproof so you could submerse it into water or use it while taking a shower, but only to a certain extent. The tablet also features a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and an 8.1MP camera on board. It’s only 6.4mm thin, and offers a beautiful design.

4. ASUS Transformer Pad (TF701T)

ASUS also has a number of tablets in its portfolio. Asus Transformer Pad TF701T is yet another decent 10-inch tablet, powered by Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, and a 10.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels. There’s 2GB of RAM, 5MP camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean pre-installed out of the box. It doesn’t offer top-of-the-line specifications, but it’s good enough considering the price tag which accompanies the tablet.

5. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10 comes in two versions, one is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, while the other one offers Windows 8.1 with Bing. It’s a decent tablet, which also features a unique kickstand so you could use it at different viewing angles. Both versions are powered by an Intel Atom  Z3745 Processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and up to 32GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card slot. The Android version starts at $269.99 while the Windows 8.1 version starts at $369.99.

6. Microsoft Surface Pro 2

Surface Pro 2

Launched last year, Surface Pro 2 is another decent Windows-powered tablet which also comes with a Type cover to offer a full-fledged keyboard support. Although Microsoft has launched its successor, the Surface Pro 3, which has received its fair share of success and offers a bigger 12-inch display, the Surface Pro 2 is still a good tablet in my opinion. It features a 10.6-inch 1080p display, up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with Windows 8.1 Pro as its operating system. Microsoft Store is no longer selling it, but you can try your luck at retailers who may have some stock. Otherwise, if you don’t have any issues with an extra inch, Surface Pro 3 is an excellent buy as well.

7. Samsung Galaxy TabPro 10.1

Although it’s a little old, it’s still a decent Android tablet if you’re looking for a 10-inch device. It offers a 10.1-inch LCD display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels, and come with either a Exynos processor or the Snapdragon 800 paired with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Magazine UX on top of it. Furthermore, there’s an 8MP camera for photos and videos, as well as an 8,220 mAh battery.

8. Lenovo ThinkPad 10

Last but not the lest, Lenovo’s ThinkPad 10 is yet another 10-inch tablet aimed at enterprise users. The tablet comes with a very decent set of specifications with a quad-core processor, HD graphics, and Windows 8.1 as its operating system. The tablet features a 1,900 by 1,200 pixels resolution, smart card reader, 8MP rear shooter, 2MP front-facing camera, and apparently can give users a pretty decent battery time. There’s a microSD card slot, as well as a micro HDMI port and a USB 2.0 connector.
